The focus teatrali are a series of lectures on theatre culture, linked to the productions of Fondazione Teatro Due. They are thought as an introduction to the plays programmed by Fondazione Teatro Due, and, as always, they will pay close attention to the relationship between theatrical experience and community, history, economic and religion. Here some of the lectures:
Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Theatre
→ The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare
Molière and the XVII century french theatre
Goldoni: from Commedia dell’Arte to Reforme
Contemporary Theatre
The lectures will also have an interactive part, to experiment through theatrical games the theories and reflections that the topic discussed originated.
Teachers can request different topics or supplements if needed,
