“With her signature blend of striking imagery, visceral movement, wit, and raw honesty, Vardimon transforms the hospital ward into a playground of emotion- a vivid world of human connection, vulnerability, resilience, and hope”: Lullaby, the new production by Jasmin Vardimon – one of the most revolutionary and influential figures in the world of contemporary dance theatre – is set to make its debut on 18 and 19 September at the JV H.O.M.E. di Ashford (Kent, UK), which is already sold out.
This new work by the Israeli choreographer builds on Lullaby (2003), one of the defining moments of her career, yet returns to that world with a fresh perspective – a boldly contemporary vision – to pose an urgent question to herself and to us: what does it really mean to care for one another?
Following a short tour of the UK, the production will make its international debut at the Teatro Due in Parma on 15 October, in what promises to be a unique and unmissable event.
Tickets are already available at the box office (B.go Salnitrara 12/a – 0521230442 – biglietteria@teatrodue.org) and online at vivaticket.
