DRAMA DAYS
TEATRO DUE
22nd/26th November
Drama Days: a week of explorations and insights devoted to new drama, investigated along the myriad flows that determine its complexity (the relationship with the stage, the input of production systems, the relationship with press and critics et al.). Open to the public, Drama Days focuses on theory and practice of drama, with artistic forays by a group of multilingual actresses and actors. With the collaboration of Florian Borchmeyer, readings of texts from new plays, panel discussions, debates and meetings with European authors will be presented. Among the guests: Fausto Paravidino, Ivan Vyrypaev, Marius von Mayenburg, Tiphaine Raffier, Claudio Longhi, Toni Casares, Marie Bues, Graziano Graziani, Carl Hegemann, Peter Laudenbach.
The comparison of themes, formal structures and different models of theater, that authors of different generations and languages will be able to return during Drama Days, also seems to us to be a way of reaffirming the power that a multidimensional civilization such as the European one seems unfortunately to forget.
